CDTI INNVIERTE enters WATTWIN’s capital in a €3M round led by Suma Capital through its SC Enion I fund

CDTI Innovación (Center for Technological Development and Innovation) has formalized an investment in Wattwin through its Innvierte program. This investment is part of a financing round that totals €3 million.

Suma Capital, through its SC Enion Fund I, has led the financing round, reinforcing its commitment to Wattwin’s development. The company’s founders and other current partners also participated in the round, actively supporting Wattwin’s growth in its strategy for the digitalization of the energy sector.

Wattwin is a technology platform that optimizes the commercialization and management of self-consumption solar, energy efficiency, and electrification projects, which are used by leading installers, marketers, and engineering firms driving the energy transition in Spain. The investment from CDTI Innovación will enable the company to advance its technology development and continue growing in the sector.

Wattwin is a great example of how digitalization can make the energy sector more efficient and facilitate its large-scale adoption, both residentially and industrially. The entry of CDTI Innovación strengthens the project’s solidity and will allow the company to continue growing and improving its value proposition”.

CDTI Innovación, a public entity under the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, supports innovation and the growth of tech companies through its Innvierte Sustainable Economy programme. To date, it has committed over €1.795 billion across 42 investment vehicles, which have invested in more than 271 companies, and through its co-investment line, it has directly committed €522 million to 160 companies.

The Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI Innovación) has formalized an investment in Wattwin.

Suma Capital, through its SC Enion Fund I, has led the round, with participation from other existing investors.
