BeePlanet’s main challenge is to internationalise its value proposition, maintaining the same quality in the implementation of its integrated solutions in all markets. The company has managed to penetrate other countries through commercial agreements with established local companies, and plans to start implementing larger by creating international production centres in strategic locations.
Energy storage using second-life batteries offers a multitude of advantages that promote the energy transition. Firstly, BeePlanet’s value proposition is a clear example of a circular economy, where new opportunities are brought to technologies that would otherwise become obsolete after use. A clear direct consequence of this is a reduced demand for first-life batteries for stationary use, as the volume of batteries from electric vehicles can cover a large part of the market.
