eSave has developed the only OCR reader that, through a complex algorithm, automatically processes any electricity bill or photograph of it and instantly extracts all the data related to the customer and their consumption. This technology is used by energy marketing companies to understand the profile of their potential customer and offer them the best possible offer for their savings, automatically.
Its OCR is used by many well-known companies, such as Repsol, TotalEnergies, Iberdrola and Endesa, among many others, and allows reducing the entry barrier to understand the customer’s needs and provide them with the offer that best suits their consumption needs.
The powerful technology developed by eSave is focused on the energy sector. However, there are many other industries that could benefit from its OCR reader for processing data and improving offerings to end customers, such as the insurance sector, water, and even internal company processes that require manual extraction of data from documents.
The company is in the midst of an exploratory phase to adapt its solution to new markets where it can offer value to its customers.
Thanks to an automatic and digital process, it makes it possible to offer the energy option that best suits the user. It therefore promotes responsible consumption in terms of contracted power, greater savings for the consumer, and a grid with lower energy needs.
On the other hand, the e-Save solution can read the CUPS (Universal Supply Point Code) on invoices, making it possible to access consumption data collected in the Supply Point Information System (SIPS). While it is possible to make a good approximation with the consumption data on the bill, accessing the SIPS facilitates further fine-tuning for hourly tariffs or power optimisation.
