Suma Capital, new member of the Barcelona Finance Cluster: commitment to purpose-driven financial investment

Suma Capital has been admitted as a full member of the Barcelona Finance Cluster, an initiative promoted by the Barcelona Centre Financer Europeu and the Departament d’Economia i Finances de la Generalitat de Catalunya, aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the Catalan financial sector.

The incorporation, approved on 22 May, acknowledges Suma Capital’s role as an independent management firm specialising in sustainability and impact investment, values that will provide a key perspective to Catalonia’s financial ecosystem.

Marc Miralles Tejedor, Head of Sustainability at Suma Capital, has been appointed as the company’s representative to the Association. With this move, the company joins a group of leading entities, including asset managers, financial institutions, and public and private organisations working together to consolidate Barcelona as an innovative and purpose-driven European financial hub.

With this new milestone, Suma Capital reaffirms its commitment to the development of sustainable investment, public-private collaboration, and capital management oriented towards generating a positive impact on society.
