Suma Capital joins Fundación Empresa & Clima and strengthens its commitment to the ecological transition

Suma Capital, a European investment manager specialized in the ecological transition, has joined Fundación Empresa & Clima (FEC), a leading organization in Spain promoting corporate commitment to tackling climate change.

This membership reinforces Suma Capital’s positioning as an investment partner to companies and founders committed to decarbonization and the sustainable transformation of their sectors.

Being part of the Foundation enables Suma Capital to further strengthen its activities across its three strategies: SC Expansion, focused on scaling leading SMEs that integrate decarbonization and operational efficiency into their growth; SC Venture, which drives climate tech solutions toward industrial adoption; and SC Infra, dedicated to the development of essential infrastructure and investments in Next Gen for the energy transition and the circular economy.

This membership also opens up new opportunities for collaboration with the business and technology ecosystem, as well as participation in dialogue and advocacy platforms in Catalonia, Spain, and Europe to advance toward the Net Zero 2050 objectives.

“Joining Fundación Empresa & Clima allows us to collaborate with and support companies that are driving real change in key sectors of the economy such as energy, industry, and mobility,” said Enrique Tombas, Chairman of Suma Capital. “We want to contribute our investment expertise and help more solutions scale with rigor, measurable environmental and social impact, and a long-term vision.”

This move is aligned with the firm’s objective of advancing initiatives consistent with its strategy of investing in assets and companies that accelerate the transition toward a net-zero and circular economy, with investment discipline and long-term resilience.

This membership reinforces Suma Capital’s positioning as an investment partner to companies and founders committed to decarbonization and the sustainable transformation of their sectors.

The integration will open up new opportunities for business and technological collaboration to accelerate solutions in industry, energy, mobility, and natural capital.
