Germans Homs, a rental company for machinery, equipment, scaffolding and modules based in Mataró, was awarded Company of the Year at the European Machinery Rental Awards, within the category of companies with turnover up to 15 million Euros.

The company, with a 30 year history and an annual turnover nearing 13 million Euros, was granted the award by the European Rental Association and International Rental News at an event held at the Meliá Castilla Hotel in Madrid, in recognition of the company’s leadership in the construction, housing rehabilitation and industrial sectors.

Suma Capital became a shareholder in Germans Homs in July 2018, providing the necessary financial muscle to accelerate growth. The company is undertaking both an organic and inorganic investment plan that includes the opening of at least 3 new branches in 2019, as well as the acquisition of companies that will permit the diversification of its activities.

Germans Homs employs 140 people between its headquarters and its ten offices located throughout Catalonia, and has more than 5,000 assets including construction machinery, scaffolding, prefabricated modules, cleaning and professional gardening machinery.
